Conditions of Hire

Colour transparencies or digital images on disc must be returned within twenty-eight days of receipt except when the right to reproduce has been brought by the consignee.
In the latter case a longer period may be granted if necessary. Should any transparencies or discs be retained, unused, for more than twenty-eight days a holding fee of £1.50 per week will be charged for each transparency retained more that one month.

The colour transparencies or digital images must not be loaned, exhibited, copied or otherwise dealt with unless prior permission has been granted by the consignor.

From the time of receipt by the consignee until the transparencies or digital images have been received back by the consignor the transparencies are the responsibility of the consignee and if lost, stolen or damaged will be charged for at £600 per transparency.

Should such colour transparencies be found subsequently the sum paid shall be refunded less 10% for each month during which the consignor has been without the use of the transparency.

The consignor agrees to grant the consignee reproduction rights for any of these colour transparencies, black and white photographs or digital images subject to written arrangement of fees and rights required.
